Frank is currently working for the Google[x] Life Sciences division of Google Inc which he joined in the fall of 2012. He has been involved in the specification and implementation of RAIN RFID technology for medical devices and is a technology champion for RAIN RFID inside of Google. Previously, he was a consultant for xG Technology developing OFDM-based wireless systems for unlicensed band communication. From 2005-2008, he was a Sr Systems Engineer for ThingMagic working on embedded RAIN RFID readers. He has BS, MS and PhD degrees from MIT in electrical engineering and computer science. He received a National Science Foundation scholarship. He has more than 10 issued patents with several pending. He is a member of the IEEE and Sigma Xi Research Society.
