Responsible for:
- Receiving information and providing inputs on the work being done through the workgroups.
- Participating in consultations.
- Sharing information about healthcare–related topics.
- Promoting RAIN Alliance content and messages linked to healthcare.
- Suggesting new WG activities.

All pharma products, medical devices, critical healthcare supplies and logistics units are RAIN enabled, providing benefits to key players and stakeholders across the value chain and improving patient care and safety.
Healthcare Community Mission
- Educate Healthcare industry stakeholders on the benefits of RAIN.
- Facilitate the adoption, and scaling, of RAIN in Healthcare by promoting open interoperable numbering, and driving tagged item performance grading.
- Associate RAIN with improved patient care and safety. (The patient is the ultimate stakeholder in the healthcare supply chain)
WORKGROUPS
The Healthcare Workgroups are focused on accelerating the growth and adoption of RAIN in the healthcare market. The use of RAIN will help improve the quality of patient care by enabling healthcare providers to identify, locate, authenticate, and engage with people and things.
