About the Company

Advanced RFID
Advanced Material Development have developed highly conductive nano particulate inks that can be securely bonded to numerous substrate types, providing flexible and stretchable circuitry solutions. Printed solutions include RFID antennas, wearable stretchable IoT sensors and circuitry, identification of and stress sensing for tyres, powertrains, structures and industrial equipment.

Next generation Green RFID
There is widespread industry interest in the benefits of replacing the incumbent metals and plastic materials used in current RFID tags. Advanced Material Development has developed a breakthrough carbon based ink on paper substrate combination, that significantly reduces the environmental impact of RFID tags while retaining the high conductivity required for RFID antenna performance. The resulting antennas are flexible, enabling folding of the tags within apparel and packaging.
Advanced Material Development (AMD) are leaders in the field of cutting-edge Materials Science. We specialize in funding research into 2D nanotechnologies and materials in collaboration with our university partners, in order to develop and commercialise unique solutions for industrial applications. In partnership with our customers, we build deep and lasting relationships that seek to bring our solutions to market through various licensing initiatives .
AMD’s work is based on an essential “platform technology” of liquid processing of 2D (nano) materials. This technology enables applications in key areas such as Advanced Sensors, Electronics & Devices, Composites, Photonics, Functional Coatings and nMark (anti-counterfeiting).
