World Wildlife Fund’s Alfred Cook To Deliver Keynote

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – April 26, 2021 – Registration for Engage Again, a virtual conference presented by The RAIN Alliance and AIM, opened today with the announcement that the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) Alfred “Bubba” Cook will deliver the keynote address.

Scheduled for May 5-6, 2021, Engage Again will focus on the automatic data collection industry, and will bring together speakers and exhibitors to cover topics like barcode, biometrics, Internet-of-things, Near Field Communication (NFC), Radio-frequency Identification (RFID), Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) and RAIN RFID from the areas of applications, standards, vertical markets, and more.

Engage Action Keynote

The keynote will be delivered by  Alfred “Bubba” Cook, Western and Central Pacific Tuna Program Manager for the WWF on Thursday, May 6 at 8 am EDT.  He will discuss the growing need and desire for better traceability of seafood products as it relates to sustainability as well as human and labor rights in fisheries.  Cook has supported the development of technology solutions for difficult fisheries challenges such as unmanned vehicle systems and blockchain, for application in fisheries conservation.
